If one thing is clear, is that Valve is exceptionally good at selling video games. Steam is the standard distribution platform for PC games these days, and many people won’t buy a video game unless it’s on Steam. That being said, it is obvious that many people will never play many of the games they purchase during the Christmas sale. When games can be bought for the price of a beer it is very easy to add titles to your Steam library, which you will forget about forever. As a matter of fact, according to website Ars Technica, up to 40 % of games on people’s Steam list had not even been run once! Shocking indeed.
