A VR ‘Adult Experience’ Is Coming to Las Vegas Hotels in the US Soon

Las Vegas, the iconic city in the US state of Nevada, is well-known for its luxurious casinos and countless entertainment options, and is unquestionably one of the most popular tourist destinations in the US.

And it looks like Las Vegas, which is famous for its thematic hotels like Luxor, will soon be known for being the world’s first city where hotels will offer a new form of virtual reality room service… Because adult industry company VR Bangers plans to offer a VR ‘adult experience’ in certain Las Vegas hotels which will use the AuroraVisor virtual reality headset, according to website VentureBeat.

So instead of watching a traditional 2D adult movie on the hotel’s TV screen, hotel guests will be able to pay $20 and be given an AuroraVisor headset and instead watch a virtual reality adult movie. What’s interesting about this VR porn is that the virtual reality scene takes place in a hotel room modelled on the room the person is staying in, and the scene kicks off with the guests’ virtual partner knocking on the door (and you can figure out what happens next…)

And it does make sense for VR Bangers to use the AuroraVisor headset, as it’s a standalone virtual reality device, unlike the Oculus Rift or HTC’s Vive which require a PC and other equipment. Samsung’s Gear VR is also standalone, although that headset requires an expensive Galaxy mobile phone to use.

As for whether this sort of room service becomes popular and takes off in other countries apart from the US remains to be seen, but this sort of VR game could certainly help draw attention to the virtual reality industry and the new possibilities offered by headsets like the AuroraVisor.
