Protagonists Franklin, Trevor and Michael got caught up in the criminal underworld of a decadent Los Santos (a city which is based on real life L.A.) letting gamers play some of the most enjoyable missions to date in the game’s painstakingly detailed open world.
And although the game has generated controversy due to its violent nature and arguably sexist attitudes towards women, driving around Los Santos and engaging in the game’s heists was surely a blast. Meanwhile, the multiplayer GTA Online has taken a life of its own and is the most popular GTA experience now, making this one of the best-selling, most loved and most played video games of all time.
