Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Sabotage DLC now out for Xbox One and PC

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare got its first expansion this January, as the Sabotage DLC for the game was released for PS4 on that date. It did not hit other platforms due to an exclusivity deal with Sony, though. But thankfully this has now expired, meaning the Sabotage DLC is now available for Xbox One and PC.

So more players will now be able to enjoy this DLC, which amongst other things features 4 new maps. The highlight of these is arguably Dominion, which is based on a popular map from the earlier Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 game. It features the same landmarks as the original map did, but Activision has modified things slightly in order to take advantage of the new movement system in Infinite Warfare, as is explained in the DLC’s official description.

The Sabotage DLC adds three other maps to the game aside from Dominion, named Noir, Neon and Renaissance. The Noir map is set in a futuristic Brooklyn at night, while Neon lets players engage in urban warfare in a virtual reality training centre. The Renaissance map is perhaps the most original of the lot, as it takes place in the city of Venice, with its tight alleys and watery canals likely leading to some hotly-contested multiplayer matches.

This expansion also adds a new chapter to the game’s zombies mode. The new Rave in the Redwoods chapter takes place on a lakeside summer camp during the 90’s, and has the protagonists of the earlier Zombies in Spaceland fighting hordes of undead once more.

So Call of Duty fans who had a good time with Infinity Warfare and are looking to dive back into Infinity Ward’s game might want to take a look at this Sabotage DLC, then, even if this latest Call of Duty game has not been amongst the best we’ve played to date. But hopefully the next game in the series will truly deliver a great experience, as Activision has stated that it is abandoning the sci-fi setting of Infinite Warfare for more traditional combat with this year’s offering, which is currently in development at studio Sledgehammer Games and will likely be released this fall.

Note: Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Sabotage DLC is out now. Available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
