Dishonored is an action-adventure game that needs no introduction, as the 2012 hit was considered by many to be one of the year’s top video game releases, due to its great gameplay, characters and story. So it’s logical that those who enjoyed the original game are looking forward to its sequel Dishonored 2, which will be hitting the shelves on November 11.
And those looking to play the game on PC will be glad to hear that developer Arkane Studios has now announced the game’s system requirements, with the minimum requirements being pretty run of the mill, while those wanting to enjoy the game in all its glory will be needing a seriously beefy PC to do so.
Actually, not only do the game’s makers recommend an Intel Core i7 processor or an AMD FX-8350 to enjoy the game at its best, but also a generous 16 GB of memory and a whopping 60 GB of disk space will be needed. Also a Nvidia GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 480 are recommended (each fitted with 6 GB and 8 GB of memory respectively) making this one very demanding game.
This is a sequel that’s no doubt looking great as seen in the preview videos and trailers released so far, though, and it’s understandable that all this eye candy requires some serious horsepower. But still, this is clearly one of the most eagerly anticipated games in years, and hopefully it will live up to the hype when it’s finally released this month.
