This game took pointers from the Grand Theft Auto series, as it featured plenty of nihilistic violence. But apart from the outrageous violence, there was little else to Postal 2. It was actually a pretty poor game that tried to cash-in on the success of the GTA series.

If anything, the game can be commended for letting you solve certain situations WITHOUT RESORTING TO VIOLENCE. For instance, you can wait in line for a couple of minutes if you need to cash a check. Now that’s a novel gameplay idea, waiting. Or you can take out a shovel and deal some indiscriminate justice (and head chopping). Another novelty is that the game let you use body fluids as a weapon. Urinating in a non-civilized manner is the game creators’ idea of a “last line of defence”, it seems…
