Max Payne 3

This game saw former cop Max performing body guarding duties for a Brazilian millionaire in the city of Sao Paulo. This being a Rockstar game only the dark side of Brazil is shown, as Max engages in some very violent shootouts, and has to deal with drug dealers, organ traffickers and corrupt businessmen. But that’s a normal day for him I guess.

When it comes to the music, given that the original Max Payne games had a film noir atmosphere, we get to listen to Max’s piano theme. It is evocative of Max’s solitary and anguished existence. But there are also more action-packed cues, which is not surprising considering that the music was composed by the noise rock band Health.
