4. Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune

You would think that a game featuring scantily-clad beach bimbos with almost no gameplay to speak of would not be popular, and yet the Dead or Alive Xtreme series has been doing quite well for some time, especially in its native Japan. These games feature curvaceous, bikini-clad female character models with oversized breasts, and offer a series of very limited mini-games for players to take part in, including a ludicrous one in which two girls fight with their bums, attempting to knock the other into a pool, which just involves a lot of mindless button-pressing on the player’s part…

Although the series’ classic beach volleyball is not half-bad, even if the gambling games like roulette get tiring quickly, and it’s clear this is all just an excuse to take a peek at some (admittedly beautifully rendered) gorgeous female characters. And for better or worse, developer Koei Tecmo did not saw fit to release the game in the West, meaning most western players will miss out on what has turned out to be one of the worst video games of the year…
