Desmond was a central part of Assassin’s Creed present day story. But will we see the bartender character again?

Desmond is a character that has been reviled by some Assassin’s Creed fans due to his lack of charisma, and is blamed by some for making Assassin’s Creed’s present day story not so interesting to sit through.

He is actually a likeable chap in Assassin’s Creed, though, an unassuming bartender with an extraordinary family lineage who ends up being a central part of the plans of evil corporation Abstergo and the Templars… He later does good for the Assassin Order too, reliving the memories of his ancestors Altair and Ezio Auditore in the original Assassin’s Creed game and its superb sequel Assassin’s Creed II.

So it’s clear that this character voiced by actor Nolan North is one of the most important in the Assassin’s Creed series. Although we already know that events in Assassin’s Creed III mean it’s very unlikely we will ever see good old Desmond again in another Assassin’s Creed game…
