8. Claudia Auditore

Claudia did accounting well in Assassin’s Creed II, and got to fight with the Assassins later on too…

While Assassin’s Creed II had some delightful characters like Leonardo or Ezio’s uncle Mario, it’s clear that Claudia Auditore stood out as one of the game’s best. And while at first she comes across as the quiet and unassuming sister of Assassin’s Creed protagonist Ezio Auditore, she later gets to occupy a position of authority, taking care of the Auditore’s finances in Monteriggioni (you know, Ezio’s home town in Assassin’s Creed II).

We also see in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood that there’s more to Claudia than meets the eye, as she becomes Madame of the infamous “Rosa in Fiore” brothel in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. Claudia also proves she can fight with the best of them when she later joins the Assassins in the game, even running the order for a while when Ezio runs into trouble with the Borgias later in the game. All in all, Claudia clearly is one of the best characters seen in Assassin’s Creed to date.
