3. Assassin’s Creed: Unity

The French Revolution sure looked great on the PS4 in Assassin’s Creed: Unity.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity was the first new-gen only game in Ubisoft’s series. And it sure takes advantage of the PS4, delivering one of the best-looking video game settings ever. Actually, it’s rendition of 18th century Paris in the middle of the French Revolution looks great, as this is a game which sure pushes the envelope graphically-speaking.

This also has a story of betrayal, love and revenge that’s the best since 2009’s great Assassin’s Creed II. It’s a pity that main character Arno is nowhere near as charismatic as Ezio Auditore was though. And not all the side activities in the huge Paris map, such as the murder mysteries, are that engaging. This still has some of the best sandbox assassination missions seen in the entire series though, and now that Ubisoft has finally squashed all of Unity’s infamous launch bugs, this surely is one of the most appetising Assassin’s Creeds you can play on your PS4 right now.
