3. God of War III Remastered

Few games have offered the same intense third-person action as the God of War series, and this remaster of the superb God of War III gives the game a fresh coat of paint, making this entry look as pretty as the best new-gen video games the PS4 has seen to date.

Of course, regardless of the fact that this God of War remaster has upgraded visuals, the action is just as visceral and entertaining, with players controlling the mythological hero Kratos on his mission to get even with the gods of Olympus. And those fights with titanic creatures have a tremendous sense of scale, and look even better thanks to the PS4’s more powerful hardware. All in all, God of War never looked this good on PlayStation consoles, and even if the action it offers might not be everyone’s cup of tea, God of War III Remastered is still one of the best PS4 games you can get hold of this gen.
