4. Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration

The latest Tomb Raider game hit the PS4 this October, after having launched on Microsoft consoles last year. But this 20 Year Celebration edition for the PS4 is arguably the best version of the lot, featuring all the extra DLC released for the game plus the same stupendous main game PC and Xbox One users got to enjoy a year before.

And while Rise of the Tomb Raider’s single player campaign did not deliver as great a story as the earlier Tomb Raider reboot which came out in 2013, it did have better gameplay, action set pieces and a greater focus on tomb raiding than Crystal Dynamic’s previous game. Plus the Blood Ties DLC let players explore Croft Manor and learn more about the past of iconic heroine Lara Croft, and the new zombies mode offered a more intense action-oriented experience, in a game which undoubtedly was one of the best to grace the PS4 this year.
