2. Hitman: Episode 2 Sapienza

This year’s Hitman game has been a return to form for the series, after the earlier Hitman: Absolution game of 2012 failed to impress fans of the franchise. And unlike earlier games in the series, this new Hitman video game has been released in episodes, with the Sapienza episode which came out last April being considered the highlight of the season for many.

This trailer showcases the sunny town of Sapienza, a sprawling Mediterranean location in which protagonist Agent 47 must dispose of a rebellious scientist working on a deadly virus and of his partner in crime. The trailer shows the multiple ways in which players can approach their hapless target and also highlights the beauty of this coastal location, and is accompanied by the great “Between Two Points” song by The Glitch Mob, surely ranking amongst the best game trailers released this year.
