4. Prey

It is clear that Bethesda aimed big with this reimagining of the original Prey game (which came out in 2006). This reveal trailer released at E3 shows the game’s sci-fi setting and first-person action, and also proves that not everything is what it seems in main character Morgan Yu’s world…

You see, hapless protagonist Yu (who can be male or female depending on player’s choice) has been the subject of some dubious experiments on the space station Talos 1, which has been overrun by a mysterious alien force leaving Yu the onerous task of dealing with the mess and finding a way home… This trailer does capture the game’s atmosphere (as well as the protagonist’s distressed mental state), and is certainly one of the better-looking of 2016 so far.
