Like it or not, there’s no doubt that Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is one of the most popular games ever made. Actually, the medieval fantasy role-playing game has been ported to more gaming platforms than you can shake a stick at, including the Nintendo Switch, while there’s also a VR version of the game available for those seeking a more immersive experience.
Also, the PC version of the game has led to the release of thousands of user-created modifications which change many aspects of the game, many of which are also available for the game’s console versions. From mods that make the game more aesthetically pleasing to complete overhauls that offer entirely new gaming experiences (such as 2016’s highly rated Enderal mod), there’s something available to suit the tastes of every player.
And while Skyrim is a game that endeavours to make players feel powerful – you are the god-chosen Dragonborn in its fantasy world after all – one of the latest user mods available for the game really adds to the feeling of being the chosen one. It does this by granting players superhuman strength, letting you punch enemies into oblivion as can be seen in the video below.
Named “Strength of the Gods”, this mod is available for download on PC at Nexus Mods (via PC Gamer), although sadly it is not available for PS4 or Xbox One yet.
In order to receive superhuman strength in Skyrim, all you need to do is visit the Shrine of Talos (which is located in the town of Whiterun), where you will be able to find a spell tome, the reading of which will make insanely strong in the game from that point onwards.
This mod is certainly a good addition to Skyrim’s ever growing library of user mods, and hopefully we’ll get to enjoy more original user created mods in the months to come too, as there’s no doubt that Skyrim is one of those games that just keeps on giving…
