Top 21 games showing at E3 2017

7. FIFA 18

Electronic Arts’ FIFA series has been going strong since the 90’s and will be returning this year with updated squads and new features. Also, European football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo will be gracing the cover of a FIFA game for the first time ever, while his footballing skills were also on display in the game’s reveal trailer. And FIFA 18 will likely feature even better visuals than last year’s edition, plus a revamped story mode too, taking into account that last year’s Journey mode (in which you guide a young aspiring soccer player to fame) proved quite popular. So FIFA 18 could stand out amongst this year’s sports games, and is one game to watch out for at E3 no doubt.

8. Far Cry 5

The Far Cry games have been amongst the best first-person shooters for more than a decade, with 2012’s Far Cry 3 being the highlight of the lot. And although Far Cry Primal left much to be desired in 2016, Ubisoft is now looking to breathe new life into the series with Far Cry 5. Perhaps the most interesting thing about Far Cry 5 is its Montana setting, and that you will be going up against a religious cult planning to take over the US in this latest Far Cry game. Add to this the fact that you can customize your character this time and play the entire campaign in co-op mode with a friend, and this surely is a game most will be dying to see at E3 2017.

9. Gran Turismo Sport

If one thing is clear, is that the Gran Turismo series is renowned worldwide due to its realistic driving gameplay, and for offering top-notch fun too. And this latest instalment is taking things further with new interesting multiplayer options as it will even let players compete in online championships sanctioned by the FIA (the governing body of motorsport).

Those who play solo will also be catered for as well, with several arcade modes and a campaign to play through, plus like earlier editions this will also feature a wealth of customization options and a big roster of cars. So despite the fact other racers like Ubisoft’s The Crew 2 will be on display at E3, this is one game racing aficionados definitely shouldn’t ignore at this year’s show.
