10. Left Alive

First revealed at the Tokyo Game Show back in 2017, this third-person action game is scheduled to hit shelves this year, and considering several veteran designers who were behind games like Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy and Xenoblade Chronicles took part in Left Alive’s development, this could turn out to be one of the year’s top games for sure.

Also, this shares the same setting as Square Enix’s Front Mission games, and features multiple protagonists and Wanzers too. These gigantic mechs can be piloted in-game and let you smash your enemies, but you’ll have to face them in battle as well. Nonetheless, and no matter how promising Left Alive looks, we’ll still have to wait in order to find out whether this will live up to the hype or not.

Release date: March 5, 2019. Available on PS4 and PC.
