This upcoming game is set in feudal Japan, and judging by the Tokyo Game Show below this is one video game that’s clearly inspired by the iconic Dark Souls series. Nioh takes place in a dark fantasy world and the main character is a samurai who must square off against supernatural creatures and enemy samurai in the game’s story.

The game will feature authentic sword combat and spectacular graphics, and developer Team Ninja has made it clear that this will be one challenging game in which players will have to earn their rewards and fight hard in order to progress. So Nioh will certainly be one PlayStation 4 exclusive to watch out for when it hits the shelves in the future, especially for those who enjoy hard to beat games and for fans of Dark Souls-style video games.
