1. Vaas Montenegro (Far Cry 3)

Early in Far Cry 3, Vaas shows his ruthlessness by killing protagonist Jason Brody’s brother Grant in cold blood. If you’ve played this great game, then you know that Jason and his friends were kidnapped by Vaas’ pirates after they decide to go skydiving near Rook Island, which was controlled by pirates and obviously nobody’s definition of paradise on Earth. Actually the islands were more like hell, as a sinister character named Hoyt (Vaas’ boss) was dealing in drugs and slaves and running other illegal activities. And at the center of all this evil was Vaas Montenegro, Hoyt’s right hand man.

Vaas was definitely a brutal, volatile lunatic. Besides killing Jason’s brother, he later tries to murder Jason and his cute girlfriend Liza by setting fire to a building with both of them tied to chairs inside. At some point in the game Vaas talks to Jason Brody about the meaning of insanity… And if one thing is clear is that he knows it by heart.
