The Assassin’s Creed games are no doubt renowned for their grand open worlds, recreating cities like Florence during the Renaissance or Victorian London. And you can expect the Egyptian cities in Assassin’s Creed Origins to look great too, while they will also be bigger than what we’ve seen before in earlier games. Actually, the city of Alexandria will be twice as big as Havana was in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag according to the game’s creative director, meaning there will likely be plenty of fun to be had here exploring the game’s world.

Also, the game’s open world will be more alive than before as there will be a true day and night cycle, with both people and animals going about their business in a realistic way. Faction wars can also break out as you wander ancient Egypt, while friendly characters can hug each other if they cross paths too… And all this should hopefully help Assassin’s Creed Origins’ world feel more alive than that of the other Assassin’s Creed games we’ve played to date.
