5. Final Fantasy XV

Taking into account how popular the Final Fantasy games are, it is not surprising that Final Fantasy XV is one of 2016’s most eagerly awaited video games. And this latest instalment of the long-running series is certainly looking like it could be something special when it debuts this November, as it’s the first Final Fantasy game to be released for new-gen consoles, and also one of the best-looking games to see a release this year.

And the game’s action did not only look spectacular in the gameplay videos we’ve seen to date, but Final Fantasy XV also boasts a cast of gorgeously rendered characters including protagonist Noctis and his pals, the beautiful Lunafreya and the sexy car mechanic Cindy, who will be lending a hand to our protagonists and his friends on the road… And it’s clear that if this Final Fantasy game can deliver the same mix of exciting combat and engaging storytelling as its predecessors did, it could be another winner for the series when it’s released this fall.
