If one thing is clear, is that the Assassin’s Creed games are some of the most atmospheric available, and let players enjoy the sights and sounds of another place, in another time. Whether it was the Rome of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood with its magnificent Pantheon or the Paris of Assassin’s Creed Unity with its grandiose Notre Dame Cathedral, Assassin’s Creed has always given gamers great sights to enjoy, and just roaming freely around the game’s historical settings has been quite an experience.

And it looks like the free-running and parkour gameplay will be as exciting in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, which takes places in 19th century Victorian London at the end of the Industrial Revolution. This is the most modern setting for an Assassin’s Creed game yet, and since players have a new device available to them known as the rope launcher (which works a bit like the grappling hook in Batman games) it will be easier to get to the top of buildings in Syndicate. And reaching the top of London’s Big Ben Tower and performing the series’ iconic leap of faith is likely to be as rewarding an experience as it was in previous games of the series…
