7. Star Wars Battlefront

This multiplayer competitive shooter is being developed by the team behind the Battlefield series, so gamers should basically expect a very similar game, but set in the Star Wars universe. This is obviously great if you are a fan of the movies. And those who ever dreamed of riding a speeder bike on the surface of the Ewok moon of Endor or piloting an AT-AT walker on the ice planet Hoth, are in for a treat, as game creators DICE have confirmed that both the planet Hoth and Endor will be playable maps for the game.

But still, it would be nice if the game featured a good single player campaign. Games like Battlefield 4 had short and shallow single player experiences, so it would be great if DICE could improve the experience for those who want to play solo.

Also the game is slated for a 2015 holiday release, alongside the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens film (here is how the video game and movie are related).
