It was meant to be one of the biggest video game launches of the year, and indeed expectations were sky-high for developer CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077.
But despite the game selling 8 million copies before launch, Cyberpunk 2077 has been a major disappointment for some people. Actually, the game shipped with major bugs and performance issues on PS4 and Xbox One. And those playing on PC might not have discovered the promised land either, as Cyberpunk 2077 won’t perform or look its best unless you’ve got a pretty beefy PC to run the game.
It’s a sad state of affairs then, and CD Projekt themselves even offered to help disgruntled players with the process of claiming refunds if they did not want to wait for the big announced patches for Cyberpunk 2077 (coming in January and February next year), which should bring last-gen performance more on par with that of PC and new-gen consoles. CD Projekt has apologized for the game’s poor performance on last-gen machines.
These patches are also expected to squash the bugs and glitches that have been giving players the world over a hard time. Some of these glitches, aside from breaking immersion, might have been downright embarrassing too…
As those who’ve played the game already know, Cyberpunk 2077 features a healthy dose of nudity. The game’s character creation screen, for instance, lets you set penis size for you male V (V being the name of Cyberpunk 2077’s protagonist) and the breast size for your female character, amongst other options.
For reasons unknown, though, there’s a glitch in the game that makes penises poke through pants, as some Cyberpunk 2077 players have discovered to their amusement, and posted images on social media showing the game’s nudity glitch (warning, NSFW images follow).

So is the case of breasts, which for some reason are poking through clothing in Cyberpunk 2077’s world.

Unintended nudity is also showing in the game in other circumstances too, as was recently reported on Polygon.
This is because while driving around Night City in third person view some players noticed their character T-posing all of a sudden, with their rear exposed to the world (the T-pose is commonly used when animating character models as Polygon points out).
Others found their character would be naked when driving on a bike, another of the game’s nudity glitches.

What to make of all this? Despite the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 is a massive, deep and complex RPG, the game has shipped with so many glitches and issues that those sitting on the fence regarding whether to buy the game or not are advised to hold off on doing so (especially the PS4 and Xbox One versions).
The team at CD Projekt Red still has a long road ahead of them in order to iron out all the bugs and improve performance, something which could take a while. For now though, at least the game’s glitches and bugs provide a form of entertainment for those yet to dive into the game’s dystopian Night City.
