10. Broken Sword – The Smoking Mirror: Reforged
The main draw here are the revamped graphics (seen in the trailer below) meaning some of the game’s best moments such as exploring the picturesque Central American town of Quaramonte or taking part in a movie shot in the Caribbean will likely be an even better experience than in the original. Of course, as in 2024’s Broken Sword 1 remaster you can switch between the modern and old visuals at the touch of a button, while purists will also be able to play in “classic mode” and enjoy Broken Sword II’s challenge without relying on hints or other in-game aids. Either way, this remastered version of the classy Broken Sword sequel could be great for newcomers and old-timers looking to relive their memories when it arrives early next year.
