10. Baldur’s Gate 3

Fans of the Baldur’s Gate games have been waiting for another entry in the series for over 20 years, so it’s a good thing that Baldur’s Gate 3 is just around the corner. Made by Belgian outfit Larian Studios, it looks like this upcoming entry in the legendary RPG series will have the breadth and depth to rival any role-playing game out there. Actually, according to Larian the game’s script boasts more words than all the Lord of the Rings book combined, plus Baldur’s Gate 3 has more hours of cinematic scenes than all the seasons of Game of Thrones put together…

There’s also the fact that the game will boast new playable races such as Dragonborn, plus the monk character class too, who can floor enemies with a combination of magic and melee attacks as players fight their way through a fantasy world inspired by classic Dungeons & Dragons settings… All in all, it looks like Larian Studios might have come up with a game that may even surpass their acclaimed Divinity Original Sin 2 game from 2017, so Baldur’s Gate 3 is a game RPG enthusiasts will be looking forward to this summer no doubt.

Release date: August 3, 2023. Available on PC and PS5 (the latter on September 6).
