Developer Quantic Dream is known for creating games that focus on character emotions and feelings. From the conflicted protagonist of Fahrenheit (known as Indigo Prophecy in the US) Lucas Kane who ended up distressed and depressed on more than one occasion while being pursued by a Mayan oracle, to the intrepid photojournalist Madison Page who was haunted by nightmares during her quest to deal with a serial killer fond of rainy weather in the thriller Heavy Rain, Quantic Dreams’ games always let players connect emotionally with the game’s characters.
And it looks like the French developer’s next game, which stars an android named Kara in a futuristic Detroit, will also be an emotional journey for players, as Kara will be discovering human emotions and experiences in a world that is often harsh and hostile, as can be seen in the game’s announcement trailer below.
