10. Postal 2 (New Zealand)

While it is clear that Postal 2’s creators were trying to cash in on the success of Rockstar’s world-conquering GTA series, the game did not come close to offering the same fantastic experience as the Grand Theft Auto games.

Actually Postal 2 suffered from technical issues and long loading times, while the game was more about shocking and outrageous violence (including decapitating enemies with shovels), featured stereotyped enemies and even allowed players to spill their bodily fluids, as it was even possible to urinate on enemies and passers-by in the game…

In other words, Postal 2 wasn’t the epitome of good taste (or good gameplay either) and its provocative violence got it a permanent ban in several countries, including New Zealand.
