Realistic Lighting Overhaul

This mod aims to make Skyrim’s lighting more realistic. This makes sense, considering that Skyrim itself was less cartoony and more realistic than its predecessor Oblivion, and would benefit from better lighting. With this mod installed, poorly lit areas, such as certain dungeons will be darker and more atmospheric.

One noteworthy feature is that mage spells will cast light when equipped. This means that if you find yourself lost in the dark in one of Skyrim’s dungeons, you can equip a lighting spell and find your way around. The light might give you away however, and bear in mind that enemy mages can now detect your sneaky thief when they equip light-emitting spells.
