3. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves

This latest instalment in the legendary fighting game series certainly has a lot to live up to. Japanese company SNK offered a playable demo of their upcoming game at their booth on the TGS, meaning some lucky gamers got to enjoy a teaser of what could be 2025’s top fighting game.

Aside from its unique art style, the game features characters new to the series such as Vox Reaper and Preecha, a Thai boxing expert who can be seen in the image above. City of the Wolves will also feature two control schemes that cater for different player styles. Also, crossover characters Ken and Chun-Li were revealed during TGS 2024. This will be the first Fatal Fury game in more than twenty years, so here’s hoping it lives up to the hype come its release date next year.

Release date: April 21, 2025. Available on PS5 and PC.
