4. Code Violet
Of course, the game’s plot is as silly as it gets. Also silly (and controversial) were the reasons given by US studio TeamKill Media for not bringing their PS5 exclusive to PC. This had to do with their fear of people “modding vulgar versions of the main character”. And although vulgar and sex mods exist for PC games, this did not prevent games like Final Fantasy 15 from getting a PC version, even though that game’s publisher Square Enix voiced similar concerns in the past. But maybe some will think it’s not a big deal that the studio behind Code Violet is skipping PC, as their earlier game Quantum Error (a survival horror game involving firefighters) wasn’t exactly a masterpiece… That game is apparently planned for PC, so maybe Dino Crisis-inspired Code Violet could hit the platform one day, when we’ll already know if the controversy surrounding it has done TeamKill Media any good.
