Some superb video games have hit the shelves so far in the year (or will soon be released in 2016), games for which we’ve seen some great preview videos and trailers too. And some of the year’s best video game trailers would have nothing to envy those of big-budget Hollywood movies, and certainly helped get video game fans excited about the game in question. Here follows a list of the top 5 video game trailers which have been released so far in 2016.

1. Dishonored 2

If one thing is clear, is that Dishonored 2 is one of the biggest video games of 2016, and this trailer released at the E3 show certainly helped get Dishonored fans excited for the sequel. Unlike the original game though, the sequel lets players choose to play as Corvo (the protagonist of the original game) and Empress Emily, who is now a grown-up woman who can go toe to toe with any enemy in the game…

This trailer not only shows some of Emily’s and Corvo’s powers in action, but also the pair’s brutal melee skills and some of the game’s beautiful Victorian locations, all to the tune of the 1970’s hit “Gold Dust Woman”, in what is one of the best video game trailers seen in 2016 no doubt.
