Sony recently revealed the games PlayStation Plus members can pick up for free next month. And PS4 owners will likely be delighted to hear that amongst these games is Abzu, the 2016 gem that arguably was one of the best indie video games to come out in 2016.
Abzu is an underwater adventure and an exploration game in the vein of the superb Journey, and like the 2012 hit also features a great musical score by composer Austin Wintory. This game will be available for free to Plus members on the PlayStation Store in North America, while subscribers in Europe will be getting the good multiplayer shooter Alienation instead.
Also up for grabs next month for PlayStation Plus members will be Tales from the Borderlands, an episodic adventure game from Telltale Games. This is the American outfit behind the great Walking Dead video games, which also did a great job with Tales from the Borderlands as it’s considered by many to be one of their best releases to date.
Additionally, Type: Rider, a well-reviewed indie game, and Laser Disco Defenders join the line-up of free PS4 games available to Plus subscribers this May, meaning this will be a month to look forward to for PlayStation Plus members as this is surely a solid collection of games for those looking to spend quality time gaming on their PS4.
