2. Resident Evil Requiem
The game’s other protagonist Grace Ashcroft doesn’t have the same powerful weapons as Leon, but she does get to wield a high-caliber pistol which can put down zombies with one shot. Her parts play more like classic survival horror (like Resident Evil 2), and are more about being stealthy and attacking from behind or avoiding enemies altogether. There’s also the secret of “Elpis” as game director Koshi Nakanishi has explained (via GameSpot), which ties in to the disappearance of Grace’s mother in the past… Plus, getting to visit Raccoon City again (a post-apocalyptic version of it) could make this one of the most spectacular games of 2026 when it arrives in late February.
