8. Grand Theft Auto VI

Grand Theft Auto 6 is a game many have long been waiting for. Its predecessor GTA V was released back in 2013, so fans are hoping the game won’t be delayed again and finally arrive this fall. And this GTA sure is looking great judging by the latest trailer, with Rockstar hoping to deliver a spectacular-looking game that makes the most of current-gen consoles.

The series is returning to Vice City, which will be a sprawling metropolis with many places to visit, but the game’s open world features many other locations in the fictional US state of Leonida (which is based on Florida). Places like Leonida Keys, a paradisical archipelago surrounded by dangerous waters which could be the setting of several interesting missions in the game. You’ll also meet characters like veteran bank robber Raul Bautista, who might be friend or foe of protagonist duo Jason and Lucia, who find themselves on the run after a bank robbery goes awry… Either way, GTA VI is a game people won’t want to miss come November this year, that’s for sure.

Release date: November 19, 2026. Available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
