10. Michael Fassbender

If one thing is clear, is that German-born actor Michael Fassbender is one of the best-known stars in Hollywood. He has appeared in blockbusters like Zack Snyder’s Greek mythology movie 300, and also in Ridley Scott’s science-fiction hit Prometheus. He is also a fine actor, as he proved with a great performance in 2013’s 12 Years a Slave.

So video game fans were elated when it was announced he would be starring alongside Marion Cotillard in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie. He will be playing the role of bartender Desmond Miles, who fans of the Assassin’s Creed series know as the man who gets to relive the memories of his ancestors when he is forced into a machine known as “The Animus” by evil corporation Abstergo. Desmond Miles’ ancestors are assassins, and it will surely be interesting to see actor Michael Fassbender play an assassin with parkour skills in a historical time period.
