3. Immersive Gameplay

This overhaul mod makes changes to Fallout 4’s gameplay to make it more immersive and challenging, such as reducing the speed at which players level up in the game, reducing the strafing and back movement speeds and also by making it harder to hit specific body parts in VATS (although players will deal more damage when they do hit though).

The mod also makes playing Fallout 4 more challenging and realistic in other ways, as the game’s various enemies will have improved AI meaning super mutants and predators will be more direct and aggressive, synths will coordinate their attacks to put down the player, while settlers will flee and search for cover when combat breaks out.

The mod also reworks the perk tree, and makes items in the game’s world like stimpacks harder to find (although their effects are enhanced) while players will also take more damage from explosions and missiles, which can now kill instantly… And it’s clear that using this mod together with the game’s Survival mode difficulty will give players the most challenging Fallout 4 experience seen to date.
