PC gaming goes beyond the desktop. It’s no longer about your stereotypical nerd playing in the dark with a mouse and keyboard, lost and alone in a videogame world. The PC has entered the mainstream as an entertainment device. An example of this might be an executive enjoying a game of Civilization on his laptop or your best pal’s girlfriend playing Baldur’s Gate on her IPad in the subway (which she got wirelessly via Steam).
