3. Playing a game named Steam

When shopping in general, you’ve probably bought clothes you never wore after. It is easy to buy impulsively during a sale, especially the Christmas sales. And this happens to many Steam users, who compete to outspend each other during the Christmas sale, even if the games end up gathering digital dust in their Steam library. The thing is that Steam is an entertainment experience in itself, and buying discounted video games, discussing their choices with friends and voting for the next game that goes on sale is great fun for many.

Also let’s not forget the coveted Steam trading cards. Buying and selling these is an amusement for many people, and there are plenty of collectors of these digital cards. As a matter of fact some users have complained that having to play through the games to get the cards is the least fun bit!
