3. Horizon: Zero Dawn

Horizon: Zero Dawn is a game set in a post-apocalyptic world, in which human tribes struggle to survive while dealing with the huge robotic creatures that roam the land. In many ways Horizon: Zero Dawn looks like a sci-fi version of Ubisoft’s Far Cry Primal game (which was set in the Stone Age) but with robot dinosaurs and futuristic weapons.

Unlike Ubisoft’s game though, Horizon: Zero Dawn has a female protagonist named Aloy, a young woman trying to survive while looking to unravel the mysteries of the game’s fictional world and learn more about her own origins… The game will feature third-person action and RPG-style dialog and quests in its open-world, and it’s certainly looking like it could be one of the more interesting PlayStation exclusives when it hits the shelves next year.

Release date: February 28, 2017. Available on PS4.
