6. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

Final Fantasy fans have been waiting for this continuation to 2020’s Final Fantasy VII Remake for years, and thankfully Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will release early this year (on February 29 no less!). And it seems that Japanese company Square Enix has spared no expense with this sequel, judging from the trailer below.

Nonetheless, they have still been criticized for splitting this remake into three parts, with yet another entry coming in a couple of years’ time. But still, Rebirth does look pretty great and seems to offer a huge amount of colorful content… Actually, Square Enix has said this will be a less linear and more open adventure than the previous instalment was. So playing as Cloud as he hunts down Sephiroth along with his pals could be even more exciting this time around, even if Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will launch as a PS5 exclusive initially though.
