Back in 2012, Blizzard Entertainment launched a game millions of people had been eagerly waiting for.

Sadly, though, this turned out to be one of the worst launches in video game history, with Diablo III being riddled with all sorts of issues when it was released in May 2012.

Fortunately, Blizzard endeavored to fix the game’s bugs, and over time Diablo III garnered a loyal following, becoming the fastest-selling PC game ever and one of the most played action RPGs on the platform.

The game later made it to consoles too, hitting the PS4 and Xbox One in summer 2014.

And after the launch of the Nintendo Switch in March 2017, rumours were doing the rounds online that the game would be coming to Nintendo’s console in the future, something we now know is actually going to happen.

This is because Blizzard recently announced that their best-selling game is headed to Nintendo Switch later this year, and will be retailing for $59.99 US dollars.

This Nintendo Switch version of the game (titled Diablo III Eternal Collection) not only includes 2014’s Reaper of Souls expansion and other add-ons which were released for the PC and console versions of the game, but also some exclusive content like The Legend of Ganondorf cosmetic armour set, a character you might remember if you’ve played Nintendo’s Legend of Zelda video game.

This is something to look forward to if you’re a Nintendo Switch owner and have even the slightest interest in this kind of game then, so be sure to stay tuned to this website for further news about Diablo III Eternal Collection in the weeks to come.
