2. The Order: 1886

The Order: 1886 was certainly one of the most eagerly awaited games of 2015 due to its superb production values and intriguing story. Playing as Sir Galahad, a member of an ancient order of knights in an alternate, sci-fi version of Victorian London, players had to deal with enemies using a variety of pretty cool weapons.

But the third-person cover-based shooting was dull and disappointing when compared to masters of the genre like Gears of War, and fighting the game’s werewolves relied too much on Quick Time Events (QTEs) which involved pushing the right button at the right time, or it would be game over for the player. And despite the fact that this was indeed a very pretty game, the boring gameplay and the game’s short length made The Order: 1886 one of the most disappointing games of 2015.
