3. Doom: The Dark Ages

The game features new locations like dark forest and ruined castles, but Doom’s adrenaline-inducing, non-stop action is still present and correct here. The atmosphere is also great, this boasting a mix of Middle Ages dark fantasy and sci-fi, while you also get to pilot a massive robot and punch giant demons where it hurts, and also ride a flying dragon, a nice distraction from the frenetic gunplay. So this surely is one of the top games to hit shelves this year to date, and one of the best in the Doom franchise too.
