This is Scarlett Johansson’s favourite game

Scarlett Johansson, the American movie star, is one of the world’s best-known celebrities mainly due to her popular role as the Black Widow in The Avengers movies. Also, few would deny that the actress and model is one of the best-looking women in Hollywood, having been named the sexiest woman in the world by Esquire magazine on more than one occasion.

She also proved that she is more than a pretty face, though, with great roles in movies like Ghost World and Lost in Translation, for which she won a BAFTA award back in 2004.

And like other celebrities, it seems Scarlett Johansson is fond of playing the odd video game every now and then, as she admitted in a recent interview with IGN that her favourite game is Nintendo’s Mario Kart, although she did not mention which one she was referring to (the last game in the series was Mario Kart 8, released for Nintendo’s Wii U console back in 2014).

She also said that her favourite character in the game is Toad and not Mario, which is many gamers favourite, but said she preferred Toad due to the fact the character is “so cute”.

Johansson also got to chat about her movie characters with the IGN interviewer, and when asked whether she thought Black Widow (her character in The Avengers movies) or Major (her character in the upcoming Ghost in the Shell) would win in a fight, the American star admitted she couldn’t pick between the two, calling it a “Sophie’s Choice” decision.

Ghost in the Shell is the latest movie project Johansson will star in, and is due to hit the theatres in March 2017. It is a sci-fi film in which the star plays a cyborg in charge of Section 9, a task force who goes after hackers and cyber criminals (see trailer above), and is surely one of the most promising movies to hit the theatres next year.

And hopefully Scarlett Johansson will keep enjoying video games in the future like her fellow celebrities do and also get to shine in the upcoming Ghost in the Shell in 2017 too, after having delighted audiences in movies like Captain America: Civil War this year.
