Top 5 video games previewed at E3 2016

5. The Last Guardian

the-last-guardianAlthough many thought that The Last Guardian would never see the light of day, as the game was originally announced in 2009 for the PS3, it will finally be released this year. And judging by the game’s E3 trailer it certainly looks like this will be an impressive looking game (and hopefully the full game will feature more of the grand and classy orchestral music we hear in the trailer).

The game will feature a boy protagonist who interacts with a giant creature in order to solve the game’s puzzles and deal with enemies. What’s interesting about The Last Guardian though, is that the player will interact with this creature like one would with a real animal, such as luring it with food to a specific location, for instance. And even though we don’t know whether The Last Guardian will be any good yet, this is looking like it will be one of the most original games seen this year when it hits the shelves in October.

Release date: October 25, 2016. Available on PS4.
