5. Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite

Fans of fighting games were elated when it was revealed at the PlayStation Experience event this year that a new Marvel vs Capcom game would be hitting the shelves in 2017, one that will feature iconic characters from both the Marvel and Capcom universes, such as Iron Man from the Avenger movies and Ryu from the Street Fighter games.

And like Capcom’s recent Street Fighter V game, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will also include a cinematic story mode in which players take control of both heroes and villains, plus the game will also feature the usual training and arcade modes seen in games of this ilk. Add to this the game’s array of multiplayer features, and this new Marvel vs. Capcom game might end up being one of 2017’s top fighting games no doubt.
