10. LEGO Jurassic World

Hope Tyrannosaurus Rex is not wandering around…

Like the LEGO Star Wars games before it, this game will feature a retelling of the movies with LEGO characters, in this case the original Jurassic Park movies and also Spielberg’s hotly anticipated Jurassic World flick. And as you can see in the trailer below, moments from the movies have been lovingly recreated, such as that magical moment in Jurassic Park when the protagonists see the dinos for the first time.

And if you’ve never seen these films, they are set in the not so distant future, when humans have found a way to clone dinosaurs by using DNA preserved in prehistoric insects… And an excentric billionaire decides to create a theme park with, you guessed it, dinosaurs in it. Suffice to say that things go haywire…

But no matter how insane the movies’ premise is, this LEGO game is bound to include plenty of slapstick comedy, action and adventure – and also plenty of those LEGO building puzzles fans have grown to love over the years.

Release date: June 12, 2015. Available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. LEGO Jurassic World is rated ‘E’ for Everyone (10+) in the U.S. and PEGI-7 (provisional) in the United Kingdom.
