It would be an understatement to say that Diablo 3 was one of the most eagerly awaited games of all time. After all, its predecessor Diablo 2 was one of the most loved, hack and slash action RPGs of all time. And not only did the game receive mostly glowing reviews, it also sold like hot cakes. As a matter of fact it sold much faster than Blizzard had anticipated, and many players did not have a particularly good experience at launch.

Instead of fighting hellish demons, many eager gamers were instead greeted with the infamous “error 37”, as Blizzard’s servers crumbled under the strain. And many gamers were understandably upset about the fact that they had to go online even to play Diablo 3’s campaign alone, as the game was an online-only game even in single player mode. But at least Blizzard has sorted out most the game’s problems since then, and Diablo 3 is a smooth and entertaining experience for PC and console users alike these days.
